Texan Revolution (oct 2, 1835 – feb 18, 1837)

Description:

The Texan Revolution (or Texan War of Independence) was a result of refusals for increase autonomy by the Mexican government by American Settlers in the states of Coahuila y Tejas.

As a result, the Settlers declared independence as the Republic of Texas on October 2nd, 1835. In February of 1837, the Mexican government made peace with Texas, defining their border as the Rio Grande. However, disagreements over what river was the Rio Grande [The Rio of OTL Texan Border is called the Rio Bravo in Mexico] would lead to a massive border disagreement.
