In November 2015, the online chatroom known as <a href="http://xat.com/databreach.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">"xat" was hacked</a> and 6 million user accounts were exposed. Used as a chat engine on websites, the leaked data included usernames, email and IP addresses along with hashed passwords.
