Description:
Between the 1200 to 1500s, the Incas built their empire in the west coast of South America, from Ecuador to Chile across the Andes Mountains, through a shrewd mixture of diplomacy, marriage alliances and military conquest. Their territory was populated by around 12 million people speaking more than 20 different languages.
