Description:
The Franco-Russian Alliance was an alliance between France and Russia, to protect each other from Germany. France had also invested a lot in Russia, and both were hoping to prevent a two-front war. It was another defensive alliance, where they would help each other only if Germany attacked any of them. They were later joined by Britain, to form the Triple EntenteAdded to timeline:
