Description:
An Indian Sufi musician, poet, and scholar in the courts of the Delhi Sultanate. Known as the "Parrot of India," Khusro wrote in both Persian and Hindavi and is credited with laying the foundations for Indian classical music and literature. He was a disciple of the famous Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya.
