Description:
An Andalusian Maliki jurist and scholar of Quranic exegesis, Hadith, and theology. His most famous works include Ahkam al-Qur’an (Judgments of the Quran) and Aridat al-Ahwadhi (a commentary on the Sunan of al-Tirmidhi). He played a key role in the spread of Maliki jurisprudence in the Maghreb and Al-Andalus.
