Mary Queen of Scots rules over Scotland (dec 8, 1542 – jul 24, 1567)
Description:
Mary Queen of Scots was born in 1542 and died in 1587, when she was executed by Elizabeth I. She was the daughter of King James V of Scotland and Mary of Guise, making her the hereditary heir to the throne of Scotland despite the fact that she lived in France since she was six. Although she was Catholic, she was not intimidated by the Protestants who controlled Scotland and kept a strong rule.
