2nd Sinō-Fredan War
1740 - 1760 (jan 1, 1740 – jan 1, 1760)
Description:
When Freda refused to return leased lands after 100 years, Sinōn invaded the city a second time. The war quickly escalated into a peninsula-wide conflict after the alliances of both cities were called upon, and after 20 years of fighting, most cities were too exhausted to keep fighting.
The war ended in a stalemate for Freda and Sinōn, as neither city was able to destroy the other or diminish their influence. Exia became the preeminent power in the east, having forced Eponai and Floros to recognize its influence over the region. Perqusna became the most powerful Adjānan city for a time.
In the west, Gladia and Karsi expanded their territories exponentially, seizing their entire home regions respectively. Auprata became divided between Sinōnian allies dominating the west, and Fredan allies dominating the east.
However, Freda and Sinōn were so exhausted by the war that their own allies overtook them: Exia thoroughly secured its dominance of the east, while Gladia and Kärsi did the same in the west, though these two cities soon became rivals and failed to capitalize on their growing strength, soon focusing on fighting one another instead of the Exian-led east.
