Lothar Meyer (Periodic Tables) (jan 2, 1864 – jan 1, 1869)
Description:
Meyer independently developed a periodic table of elements organized by atomic weight and showed a periodic relationship between atomic weight and element properties. His work was published around the same time as Mendeleev's.
Example: Meyer’s table included elements like oxygen (O), sulfur (S), and selenium (Se). He recognized that when arranged by atomic weight, these elements showed a similarity in their physical properties.
