France and Britain have an isolated war in the Indian Ocean (jun 17, 1868 – sep 20, 1879)
Description:
France would enter war with England in the Indian Ocean in an attempt to claim the island territory of Genosha. The island would be sieged for years with England eventually abandoning claim to the island. This would lead Genosha to declare independence and would utilize Mutant slaves in their defense and eventually victory over the French, causing Genosha to be recognized as it's own independent nation.
