EGYPTIAN CHRONOLOGY THROUGH ASTRONOMICALLY DATED SYNCHRONISMS by Gerard GertouxDjedkare Isesi (5:8). The 21 censuses identified under Djedkare imply a reign of at least 35 years (=21.5x1.6) in agreement with the 36-year duration derived from radiocarbon dating. The duration of 28 years (TC) is therefore incorrect but allows us to assume that a decade has been omitted, the number 28 having to be corrected to 38. The beginning of the reign in 2324 BCE is confirmed by astronomy.
