Description:
The Chinese Cultural revolution was spearheaded by Mao Zedong to purify china and solidify his authority. Mao called on young people to disrupt the current system, and destabilize authority figures. This revolution may have also been created to distract the public and create new problems that would cover up Mao’s Great Leap Forward.
