The Great Depression (oct 29, 1929 – sep 1, 1939)

Description:

After nearly ten years of bad policy, the Great Depression finally ended the prosperity of the 1920s. However, the crash was not the only reason for the Depression: it was an accumulation of what had happened previously. Farmers were using excessive credit because of the Dust Bowl, speculation was at an all-time high, and uneven wealth distribution was rampant. Due to the Great Depression, global trade shut down, GDP decreased substantially, and widespread bank failure set in.
