Shero Age (aug 29, 2019 – 13 h, jun 28, 2020 y)
Description:
The Shero Age is the period where the 8thLR began having a more organized playstyle in the sense of comp. Shero single handily transformed the mentality of the 8thLR and brought in many of his friends from other regiments. He actively did his best to mold the 8thLR into his own vision.
One of the first things Shero did when he joined was host a regimental marksmanship training with the permission of Daz where he hit all of his shots and said the exact distance of a target before firing, which was enough for Daz to give him permission to train the regiment. Slowly, the regiment would become extremely good at shooting due to Shero.
The 8thLR, which already had good melee, increased its skill with players transferring due to Shero. Shero hosted a Line Leaders in Training class, which was an insane amount of work for a video game. Interestingly, it truly did work for those that went through it, and those line leaders went on to become some of the regiment's best. Although the regiment's skill improved, especially in regards to Skirmishers, which Shero assumed command of. Other issues quickly appeared.
Shero would often get upset when he didn't get his way and lash out on staff members, going as far as yelling. He would give himself Headquarters as a Mod and no one who was High Command did anything about it. He often would purposely troll and mess around with everything related to Cav Company.
Issues would eventually boil over leading to Shero yelling at Mamba which was nothing new. Mamba though at this time had recently acquired Oberst, so he banned Shero. Shero being banned would then lead to a huge divide and drama, which is documented in "The Troubles"
Shero managed to change the 8thLRs playstyle, player base (his friends who were all more competitive), cause "political" fallouts, and the event environment.
