Seren War (may 24, 676 – sep 15, 676)
Description:
Iopo vs the Duchy of Serener (Klertinia)
Iopo wanted to establish control over the Serpent's Bay and by doing so, they needed a post on the Bouran Peninsula.
Iopon victory
Serener annexed
Iopo overpowered the small Duchy very esily through a blockade and a land invasion of the capital, Serei (south modern day Seresi). As a result of the Battle of Serei, the Iopon soldiers burned down the city. Afterwards, Iopon settlers established Fort Ierïvusa, which eventually became the city of Seresi when it was founded in 694. After the fall of Iopo, Iopon Serener (called Iopon Klertinia) stayed under the control of Etëra Iopo until the Lesser War when the Duke of Klertinia, Duke Peilosa Temora, rebelled. With the conclusion of the Lesser War, Duke Temora established the Kingdom of Klertinia. He married the Duke of Nomora's daughter, thus forming an alliance between the two. After the death of the Duke of Nomora, the title of Duke of Nomora transferred over to Temora's son, Serulkan, and the Duchy of Nomora came into the possession of Klertinia.
