Bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki and Japan Surrenders (aug 6, 1945 – aug 9, 1945)

Description:

In 1939-45 an American B-29 bomber dropped the first ever atomic bomb in the world targeting Japan’s city Hiroshima due to their relentless mindset of not surrendering due to their culture, so surrendering was not an option therefore the U.S bombed Japan. This then killed 80,000 people and tens of thousands more due to the radiation of the atomic bomb.

3 days later after the Bombing of Hiroshima a second atomic bomb was dropped in Japan's city Nagasaki and killed 40,000 people and 6 days later the 15th of August Japan finally realized the devastation of the power for the atomic bomb and announced that they would surrender unconditionally on a radio.

It contributed to ending world war 2 and demonstrated the power of the atomic bomb. This then affected the world by creating nuclear bombs and a new era of devastating power and impacting the world negatively if another world war started and might end the human race/every life at this point.
