The causes of the Haitian Revolution are that the slaves were tired of being own by rich people, the first ones that started to fight were the petits blancs that were slaves but that wasn't the worse position of slavery. Also the Haitian Revolution got a big impact on the economy. It was a slave revolt and this was succesful and Haiti, the first independent black state in the New World. Important fact.
