Columbus' Fourth Voyage (jan 1, 1502 – jan 1, 1504)
Description:
Once again Columbus sought to find a route to the Indian Ocean and Asia, but evidently there was none. In this time Columbus explored the present day areas of Nicaragua, Honduras and Panama. During the voyage Columbus; ships were extensively damaged and he became stranded in Jamaica for almost an entire year. After yet another unsuccessful voyage, his reputation was tarnished and his career of exploration came to a halt.Added to timeline:
