Women in war (jan 1, 1918 – jan 1, 1919)
Description:
 At the end of the war, women were encouraged often required to leave their wartime jobs in order to accommodate the men returning from service. The extension of voting rights to women shortly after the war in Britain (1918 for women thirty years and older). Germany (1919), was in part an acknowledgment of the important roles women assumed during the Great War
