Description:
In response to Mexico putting down Texas's attempt to secede from Mexico. US marines occupy the presidential palace in Mexico City, and force the Mexican Government to sell half of Mexico's territory to the US, including hat are now known as that states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas along with parts of Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Kansas.Added to timeline:
