Germans attack North Africa to get control of Britain's Suez Canal (led by General Erwin Rommel)
US and Britain counterattack
US & Britain call for "Unconditional Surrender" --> meaning fight until victory so no negotiated peace (like WWI was negotiated peace)
US & Britain kicked Germans out of North Africa in 1943 and got the Unconditional Surrender they wanted
German General Rommel trapped in Tunisia and died in 1944
