Japanese Internment Camps (jan 1, 1942 – mar 20, 1946)
Description:
Japanese-Americans are moved to "relocation" or "internment" camps
US thought they would aid Japan in invading America
Camps abused their rights
- no conviction/trial, etc.
- but no killing --> they were only detainment camps
Racism because they only did this to the Japanese and not to the German-Americans or Italian-Americans
