Description:
Found the gospel, and changed his life around at a young age. However, he began to teach heresy and gain a massive following. His followers would beg for food and carry no possessions, an inspiration for the non-heretical mendicant orders. Eventually, toward the end of his life, he realized his error and converted back to Catholicism.Added to timeline:
