PALEOZOIC ERA (jan 1, 540000000 BC – jan 1, 248000000 BC)
Description:
The Paleozoic ERA is the era 3rd to the present day era and is notably a period which bloomed a tremendous amount of different species, including the first sharks, the first land plants, first jawed fish, first amphibians, and new Ferns. It was birth of many species of what is of today.
Though later into the Era, there were major physical changes which occured too. This being the super continent forming, "Pangea".
Other than the fact this was one landmass, this was mostly covered by vegetation.
All era's of time end with some kind of extinction, forcing the surviving life to evolve and transition into the next era of time. As for the Paleozoic era, it came to an end due to the Permian extinction. This extinction ironically occured due to global warming, causing the life at the time unable to breath.
