Qin Dynasty & Shi Huangti (oct 12, 221 BC – jan 7, 206 BC)
Description:
The Qin Dynasty was one of the shortest dynasties in China. It lasted 15 years. It was the only dynasties that was fully legalist. The leader, Shi Huangti forced a lot of the citizens into conscripted labor. Most of the laborers were forced to work on the Great Wall of China. The conscripted labor was not a big hit for the peasants. When Shi died, everyone was happy to move to the next dynasty. It relates to the period 2 key concept of the Development of Sates and Empires.
