Description:
The Yellow Turban Rebellion was a peasant revolt in the Han dynasty. The peasants revolted because landowners had been exploiting the poor peasants by buying all the land and hiring them to work for low salaries. The rebellion originally experienced success, but then tables turned, and the rebellion was crushed. The rebellion relates to the period 2 key concept of the Development of Sates and Empires.
