Description:
The Vietnam War began when North Vietnam began fighting to unify the north and south to create one Vietnam. The U.S. saw this as a threat for they didn’t want communism to take over South Vietnam so, they decided to get involved. The war was very costly with not much to come out of it in the end. By the end of the war, more than 3 million people were killed during the war, more than half being Vietnamese civilians.Added to timeline:
