Napoleon Bonaparte (jan 1, 1769 – jan 1, 1821)
Description:
Napoleon Bonaparte was an opportunist. He began in the military and worked his way through the chaos of the French Revolution to form the French Empire, him being at its head. Napoleon made many decisions against the ideas of the French Revolution, but seemed to somewhat follow the ideals of the Enlightenment. (Palmer Page 387)
