Description:
Tet is a vietnameses holiday but in 1968 north vietnam attacked several key southern vietnamese out posts and cities to encourage southern citizens and soldiers to rebell and join them. The southern vietnamese held their guard and fought off the attacks the media coverage shocked most americans and strengthened the anti-war movement.Added to timeline:
