Rosenberg Trials (jul 1, 1950 – jun 19, 1953)
Description:
Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were to people who were tried and convicted of being Soviet spies who gave away information about the atomic bomb to the Soviet Union. They were convicted of “Conspiracy to Commit Espionage” and were ultimately put to death on June 19, 1953. There is a lot of controversy surrounding their death sentence, as many claim that they were not guilty and were in fact victims to the paranoia about communism during the Cold War.
