Description:
The Berlin Wall was a physical barrier that represented the ideological barrier between two sides of Berlin, Germany, which was occupied by the United States, France, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union. It was constructed by those in East Berlin and really all of East Germany in order to cut off relations between the western ideology and eastern ideology. It stayed up until November of 1989 when it was finally destroyed and Berlin was reunited.Added to timeline:
