Woodstock (aug 15, 1969 – aug 18, 1969)

Description:

Woodstock music festival was originally planned for aug 15-17 but it ended up running over to august 18th. The festival happened on a dairy farm in upstate New York. This festival was all about listening to music and promoting peace. Many people who attended ended up opposing the war even more after this and are also associated with hippies.
