The Piositan Famine (feb 5, 1537 – apr 6, 1537)
Description:
An enforced famine onto the Mredonian settlement of Piosita in order to stop the raids by the Syakhk tribe of the Khakhyan peoples. It did not stop the raids as there was still valuable land that could help grow crops and raise sheep for the tribe. Eventually because of the famine, the Nuom settlers abandoned the fort and gave it up to the Syakhk.Added to timeline:
