Description:
Santhals are tribes of Jharkhand.The Santhal Revolt was the 1st peasant movement which took place in India.
1) led by 4 Murmu brothers
2) Santhal Pargana was created in 1885
from the districts of Bhagalpur and Birbhum.
3) llegal for a Santhal to transfer land to a non-Santhal
