Description:
The Hippy culture was aroused due to the constant war against Vietnam. College groups formed with the pared vison of world peace and freedom. Hippies took inspiration from the American social and literary movement known as 'Beats'. Beats were messages derived from Jazz which talked about civil rights. The most known Hippie movement is Woodstock, consisting of 3 days of peace and music.
