Description:
The Cuban Missile Crisis was between the United States and the Soviet Union. It concerned the Soviet Union's missiles in Cuba, along with the United States missiles in Turkey and Italy. This was the closest the war came to becoming a nuclear war. It ended when Khrushchev agreed to remove the missiles in Cuba, if the U.S promised not to invade Cuba along with removing the missiles in Turkey.Added to timeline:
