The Tet Offensive was a sequence of attacks carried out by the North Vietnamese. They attacked more than 100 cities in South Vietnam. It was an attempt to encourage the U.S to stay out of the war. There were many casualties, and North Vietnam was successful with the attacks.Added to timeline:
