20th Century (jan 3, 1900 – jan 1, 2000)

Description:

The turn of the century into the 20th Century, was a great one in terms of change. Music was becoming extremely widespread in terms of genre, and it's use in the world. From Orchestras to Bands, and the use of music revolutionizing from Theaters to Movie Screens and other forms of media.

Music from the Romantic Era continued to expand, as Romantic, Nationalistic, and Classical music's were expanded upon. The 20th Century brought as well new forms of music entirely, such as Blues, Disco, Electronic, Hip Hop, Jazz, New-Age Music, and Rock & Roll. Contemporary Classical music saw a rise, and much music from the Romantic and Classical Era were still quite popular in certain reigions, such as Folk.
