Constitution (jan 1, 1787 – jan 1, 1789)

Description:

The Constitution was written in 1787 and adopted in 1789. The Constitution has had 27 amendments and the first 10 became the Bill of Rights. Removing formal religion from schools, federal government not having a central role in schools, making all students equal under the law, and giving states primary authority over education are all ways the constitution has changed and made the school system we have today.
