Description:
- SC of Calcutta to have jurisdiction over all the inhabitants of Calcutta. Hindu as per Hindu law and Muslim as per Muslim Law
- Exemption of G-G and executive council from the jurisdiction of SC. Similarly, servants of the company are made immune if they do anything while sharing their duty
- Excluded the revenue matters and matters related to the collection of revenue from the preview of SC
- Laid down that appeals from the provincial courts to be taken by Governor General and not SC ***Appellate Jurisdiction gone***
- The Governor General can frame regulations for Provincial courts and Councils
