Tet-offensive (jan 30, 1968 – sep 23, 1968)
Description:
The Tet Offensive was a series of attacks on more than 100 cities and outposts around South Vietnam done by North Vietnam. One of the reasons for these attacks was to get the United States to scale back their involvement in the Vietnam War. The Tet-offensive cause many in the United states to question why we were at war. In the end North Vietnam war and this was known as the turning point of the war.
