Joseph Haydn is the most well known for establishing the forms for the string quartet and Symphonies (with the increased size of the orchestra). Unlike most well known musicians, he did not come from a musical family, instead he learned from his paternal cousin named J.M Frank. Haydn also had one of the largest musical outputs ever, with sources showing his credit to over 100 symphonies, 84 string quartets, 25 concertos, 52 piano sonatas, 12 masses, 24 operas, and 10 oratorios and cantatas.
