Orlande de Lassus (jan 1, 1532 – jan 1, 1594)

Description:

Born in modern day Belgium, then called Habsburg Netherlands, he worked in many choirs since his young age. Because of this he was actually kidnapped by other choirs THREE TIMES! Some of his later known famous pieces include: Psalmi Davide poenitentialis (1559), Bonjour mon coeur (1564), and Missa Suzanne un jour (1577)
