Korean War (jun 25, 1950 – jul 27, 1953)

Description:

This was a war that started when North Korea invaded South Korea. Seeing as N. Korea wanted to turn S. Korea communist, the United States came in to help S. Korea. Seeing the USA helping S. Korea, the Soviet Union and China began supplying aid to the N. Korean army, to try to help them win. After 3 years, a ceasefire was called on both sides at the 38th parallel. The standoff is still happening today.
