Description:
Paul Cezanne was a French Post-Impressionist painter. He often painted harlequins, portraits, and still-lifes with odd forms and perspectives. In his art, he consciously balanced the subjective and objective in his paintings, which all had ample gravitas. He is considered instrumental in the transition between post-impressionism and modernism.
