After the taking over, the Romans renamed Judah to Judaea. In 66 CE, a Jewish group known as the Zealots successfully revolted against Roman rule. Unfortunately, the Romans retook Judea after four years and destroy the second Great Temple - all that remains is the Western Wall. 73 CE - the story of the ancient fortress known as Masada.135 CE - the Romans crush the final Jewish revolt - forbade Jews to ever live or visit Jerusalem - also rename Judah to Palestine.
