The Liberator (jan 1, 1831 – dec 29, 1865)
Description:
This was Garrison's anti slavery newspaper which became one of the influential pieces of writing for the abolitionist movement. The Liberator called for the immediate ban on slavery, providing a whole plethora of arguments surrounding morality. This helped gain traction for the movement as well as provided abolitionists a larger voice to speak out with.
