This was a festival that began on August 15, 1969 in Bethel, New York. It is one of the most famous rock concert and festival that had ever been held and is now a symbol for the counterculture movement of the 1960s. The festival was called "Woodstock", because "Woodstock Ventures" an investment company had put money into the concert. Over 400,000 people attended the event.
