Description:
When Germany had control over many parts of Europe they wanted to continue to expand. Therefore they wanted to invade Great Britain, and to do that they needed to destroy their airforced called the Royal Air Force. Germany started the Battle of Britain by bombing in July 1940. It continued for months and Britain did not stop fighting back, the battle was won by Britain since it was easier for them to fight on their own territory.Added to timeline:
