Description:
Brings empire to largest geographic size but internally becomes weak- devout Muslim
- secret police that enforce 5 daily prayers
- destroyed Hindu temples
- rebellions begin against policies
Empire never regains strength after Aurangzeb's death and will be taken over by the British in the mid 1800s
